| Here is l'Arc de Triomphe viewed at ground level. It's interesting that the roadway was built to go around the structure, instead of through the centre like you might expect. I assume this is a way to respect the historical significance of the Arc. If you want to go to the top, there is an underground passage. Don't try to cross traffic... trust me. |
