| Here we are at our destination, Edelweisspitze at 2571 metres above sea level. Since we started at an elevation of about 800 metres, that means we climbed over 1700 metres, which is over three times the height of the CN Tower. It was a challenging climb... but what a feeling of accomplishment once we reached the top! The highest mountain in Austria, Grossglockner at 3798m, is in the background. |
